This the first textbook about psychoanalytic body-focussed psychotherapy. It aims at developping the body-related dimension in effective events between patient and therapist. Based on numerous examples, basic forms of awareness, apperception and treatment relating to various symptoms become comprehensible. It is illustrated how by applying a defined setting open to body-interaction, the principle of hindsight (working through issues after they occured) can be complemented by the principle of immediacy (implicit apperception and modification of events while they are occurring). At this point, there are no plans for an English translation.
